Netball Cluster Finals at Kingshill School

What an afternoon of amazing Netball and what an afternoon of horrible freezing cold rain and hailstones!  Our Netball team arrived at Kingshill School feeling confident and excited having not conceded a single game in their previous matches. However, we soon realised we were drawn in a very tough pool with St Mary’s Primary being previous Level 3 winners and Fairford Primary a consistently strong team. However, this did not deter anyone and we won our first two games against Powell’s and St Andrews easily. As the whistle blew against Fairford, the freezing rain came down and we just lost a hard fought game. As expected, St Mary’s beat us but we never gave up, even with frozen hands, and played brilliantly. Well done to the entire team for coming third out of six teams in their pool and playing such skilful, determined Netball.

On the 21st March, a very strong Netball team went to Kingshill School. They played well taking part in tough conditions and came an amazing third in their pool. They expressed brilliant teamwork. It was cold and raining but they fought through it together. They played against other good teams and even when it began to rain heavily, they still tried their best. We are very proud of our Netball team. Well done!
